This seems familiar.
I apparently never posted the photo below but sometime last year the DF left all of his
clothes in the car during a rotation and then I had to wash and iron them. Well, surprise surprise he did the same thing after his latest rotation! I took another photo and actually timed how long it took to iron everything (I think it was 11 or 12 shirts and 5 pairs of pants). It took about 50 minutes. I just watched Once (which Steven bought me for my birthday) to keep myself entertained. I don't mind ironing, but it did seem to take forever!! The second pic is today's work.

Is it fall yet?
This past weekend's weather was fairly cool, and it's got me excited for fall. It's my favorite season, and it's really the beginning of my apartment decorating season. I get to put up fall stuff, then add Halloween, then back to just fall, and then Christmas! Christmas seems far away right now (it seems like last Christmas wasn't very long ago) but it always sneaks up on me. I'm already making my Black Friday shopping plans - woohoo! I think this year the night will end by watching New Moon (the second Twilight movie) with Stacy. I told her I was only willing to see it in the theatre if we caught a late show to avoid screaming girls, lol! We'll have to load up on the coffee throughout the day to stay awake! Anyway, I'm excited about fall - anyone else?
Speaking of Twilight, here's yet another pic of Robert Pattinson. In this one he's joined by two other cast members. (Too bad I don't have any readers who are Twilight fans!)

Many thanks!
Thanks to everyone who sent cards and well wishes my way for my birthday!! It means a lot to know I have so much great family (and friends!) thinking of me. Even my coworkers made me feel special - mainly by buying me coffee or giving me money to buy coffee, haha! Anyway, I really appreciate it! And since it's my birthday - actually since it's my blog - I get to choose a photo to post. Still on the Robert Pattinson kick; here's an extra scary vampire one. Oooo!!!

Jumper cables to the rescue!
Stacy's husband, Michael, left her keys in the ignition overnight and somehow drained her battery. So, this morning she had to get her Trailblazer jump started. Unfortunately, her battery was old so it didn't keep the charge. At the end of the day, one of our coworkers tried to use one of those jump box things (what's it called?!), but it wasn't charged enough. Good thing I was there to save the day with my jumper cables! I think I've posted on here before how much they got used while I worked at the video store in PA, but I think this is the first time I've used them here. Of course I'm keeping in the tradition of not actually hooking them up myself; one of our coworker's husband was there to pick her up and he did the dirty work. Regardless, Stacy got on her way and got a new battery. And the DF teases me about my emergency kit in the trunk. What does he know?! ;-)

What's on the agenda?
This is shaping up to be a nice, slow week. I don't have any major plans, though Stacy and I may be line dancing on Thursday since our 6 week yoga class is done. (We did a really cool balancing move last week, but I don't know the name of it to find a picture...) I haven't line danced in quite a while, but Stacy insists it will be great. I'll let you know how it goes! I'd love to go boot (not cowboy) shopping at some point, but I think the DF doubts whether I really need some. What does he know?! (And I even have gift certificates that will cover a small fraction of the cost!)
Tommy came up to visit over the weekend, and I got to see my parents, so that was nice, as always. I think I've gotten Tommy into the Facebook scene, and he's now my Farmville neighbor and a member of my Mafia Wars family (Katie's in my family too!). Now he can experience the addiction! :)
Here's a picture of Robert Pattinson for your viewing pleasure. Looks like someone ripped the poor guy's shirt. ;-D Have a nice, slow week, everyone!

Better Watch Out!
I've been taking a kickboxing class at the gym lately, but it's kind of gross wearing gloves that everyone else has been sweating in, so I decided to buy my own pair. They're surprisingly inexpensive. Of course the store only had them in pink - I think they for breast cancer awareness or something. So they're not very intimidating. The DF gets a big kick out of them, so we took some fun pictures. Here's a couple of them!
