I must be losing it.

A couple of days ago I decided to watch some of the tv show Bones (David Boreanaz - woot!) on dvd. I knew I owned seasons 1 and 2 so I was trying to decide which to watch. I grabbed season 1 but couldn't find season 2. I looked for it...and looked some more. And never found it. I began to wonder if I even owned it. I got season 1 from my parents for Christmas a few years ago and could swear that the following Christmas I had gotten season 2. I looked it up on amazon.com to review the episode list. And I'm positive now that I never owned season 2 because of certain episodes I know I haven't seen since they aired. How could I be so convinced I owned it that I was wondering who I could have lent it to and forgotten to get it back from?

Fast forward to yesterday. I watched the Oscars from Sunday night and decided I should watch more Hugh Jackman, who hosted it. I decided to watch X Men or maybe X Men 2. I looked for one of them...and looked some more. And didn't find either. I was talking to the DF on the phone, and he was like, "Uh, I don't own those..." I knew I didn't buy them - I thought he did! We don't even own them! I know I've seen at least the first one a bunch of times, but I must have watched it on tv or borrowed it from my dad. (Oh, please tell me you have it, Dad, so I'm not completely delusional!!)

What are the chances that twice in the same week I would be so convinced that I owned a dvd that I looked everywhere in the apartment? The DF and I pretty much never lose anything, so they're not just hidden away somewhere. We just don't own them. Boy, do I feel crazy!!

The only highlight of my craziness? Pictures of David Boreanaz and Hugh Jackman. That's all I've got!
